As refreshing as a Door County vacation! This light ruby-red beer pours with a thick, slightly pink head resulting from the ample amounts of real, juicy Door County cherries. Aromas of tart cherries lead into a nice spritzy cherry flavor, balanced by a subtle malty background and low hop bitterness. Enjoy! Try our cherry lager with broiled walleye or whitefish fillets, especially if they're topped with a fruit salsa. For an interesting twist, have this one on the side with plain vanilla ice cream…or if you're brave enough, try making a cherry float! Ideal serving temp: 45-47° F.

A reddish pour with a small head. Not much lacing on my glass. Smell of cherries is clear with nothing else sticking out. Flavor was a little tart but not overally, not as creamy as I thought it would be. A little too sweet at the end for me.

there;s still hints of a mediocre brew underneath, but because the cherry part is done well, this is the best LF beer i've had of 9. the cherry part tastes natural, smells sweet and has a very pleasing tart aftertaste. otherwise, i'd pass on this.

Sampled on 4/7/2009. This fruit beer pours a medium orange gold color with a pinkish tinge. Medium sized white foamy head, with good retention. The aroma is wheat and cherry. A medium bodied fruit beer. The malts are wheaty and grainy, with a semi sweet cheery flavor. The hops are spicy. The fruit flavor is rather nice, not too over the top, overly sweet or artificial tasting. Lively carbonation. Decent balance. Nice refreshing beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet, with a touch of cheery coughdrop.

Aroma is of sweet cherries with some faint malt. Appearance is a light orange to reddish in color with a head that diminishes very quickly. Moutheel is decent but a bit cloying and sweet with some thin coating. Flavor is of sweetness and artificial overtones with some cherry and a finish that is clean and crisp. Overall, no good for sure and not recommended...

Very cloudy lager with a pinkish color. Taste of dry tart wisconsin cherries. Different to have cherries in a lager beer. Not as much complexity as any ale but it would be a real nice picnic beer for me.... Some rusty undertones, Mostly an abundant taste of cherries. A good bubbly nature. Halfway sweet malts play a supportive role, and a good one

From a bottle. Bought this to finish out a build your own sixer. Not a fan of fruit beers, and this followed suit. Pours pinkish copper with a slighly pink white head. Aroma is sour and has a nice cherry smell. Flavor is somewhat musty. Tastes like a typical lager with some cherry juice thrown in. Glad I tried it, but won't be seeking it out again.

Pours a reddish-orange coloured body with a small white head. Cherry flavor is prevalent but is not as pleasent compared to Sam Adams cherry wheat. Aroma is of cherries, grain and pear. decent overall.

This one poured a nice blush color with a weak head. It had a faint sweet aroma. The flavor was relatively bland through the midpalate, but the malt and cherry flavor came out on the finish and was enjoyable.

Pours a reddish pale lager color with a fizzy little head, all carbonation, but it sticks around. The lacing was fairly weak, but the glass was one of my smoother pint glasses, not conducive to a good head. Aroma was tart cherries, that's about it. The flavor was lightly tart cherries with a grainy, wheaty type base, fairly reminiscent of SA's Cherry Wheat, which I enjoy but haven't had in a while (dub me a heretic for saying so, I don't care). Mouthfeel was a little crisp with the tart wheaty-cherry, carbonated combo, fairly refreshing. Sweet/tart balance was pretty good. Not a bad summer fruit beer.
