Just a wallop of oak and vanilla in the nose and on the tongue. A decent amount of hops to make it almost Belgian IPA ish. Looks just like a Belgian quad in the glass, typical fizzy and frothy head on a murky brown beer.

750 ml bottle, bottle no. 01749, date August 2012. Pours a hazy tea-like brown with a huge creamy off-white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is green leafy tropical fruits and resiny fruity hops with a bit of dank stinkiness.
The flavor is sweet tropical fruits and light bready malts with some dry alcohol and piney, minty hops in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth, slightly sharp carbonation.
Overall, this is my new favorite Woodcut. I personally don't get a lot of wood out of it (maybe a little vanilla), but a lot of tropical fruits and green, leafy, minty, piney hops.
