Some pimps walk. Some pimps strut. Some pimps run from the law. This pimp, a blend of Pimp and Knob Creek bourbon barrel aged Blaecorn Unidragon, rides between giant wings as they flap through a fiery night sky.

    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 9

Rich aroma has the smokiness of the stout and the subtle spiciness of the brown ale. It has tones of caramel, licorice, molasses and mocha as well. Got me drooling like one of Pavlov's famous dogs. Pours an opaque, dark-chocolate brown with a thick and fairly persistent tan head that leaves some generous lacing. Satisfying flavor seems different with every sip - one gives you caramel, another molasses, another roast malt. Other flavors include toffee, semi-sweet chocolate, quality coffee, even touches of fruit. Alcohol bite is noticeable but not too fierce. Full-bodied texture is quite fizzy and lively, leaving a nice smoky, syrupy but not too sweet finish. Too bad this flight won't last. If there's a heaven for beer lovers, this will be on tap there.
