Oka Uba IPA has been described as liquid candy. Weighing in at only 57 IBU’s (International Bittering Units), Oka Uba proves that hoppy IPA’s don’t have to be oppressively bitter. Premium malts and lots of late hop additions will make this one of the most drinkable IPAs you’ve ever put in your mouth.

Pours somewhat hazy honey with a fair ivory head. Aroma offers resiny hops, tangy citrus and fresh malt. Flavor yields resiny and slightly woody and bitter hops, tangy and juicy citrus, zesty malt. Texture presents good body and perky fizz. OK, a decent IPA.

Among the best IPAs that I've in recent memory. I left the taproom thinking that this should be the standard by which other IPAs are measured. Not overly bitter, but well-balanced in every sense and complete with all requisite IPA qualitiies. Proportion, in this case, rules. Very drinkable and the flavor/aroma give bo hint at the 8% advertsied ABV. Well Done! and welcome to another Birmingham brewer.
