A percentage of the sales of Clown Shoes Brewing’s new Miracle IPA will benefit the Minor Miracle Fund. The fund will go to support worthy causes over time. Miracle Mike (mentioned on the label) is a real person – Mike Pettengill, one of the brewery’s delivery drivers. He is having a costume designed for him to wear at events/festivities/fundraisers. Best answer to why he is the one on the beer label? Per Mike: “Because I’m f&#king awesome.” Save the world Mike. Save the world. Our boy, Miracle Mike, represents the good we hope to do with the Clown Shoes Minor Miracle Fund. A percentage of profits from this juicy, sessionable IPA will be used to help real people (and maybe a puppy or two.) Style: American IPA Availability: 22oz bombers. Retail $4-ish dollars. It's a bit yellow, some orange, some cloudyness though, not too awesome. A nice fruity spice resin hop nose, not as typical as all the others. A good soapy bitterness and at 5.5% I could drink this all day. Not as good as All Day but a decent alternative for the price.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy copper amber with a big fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is tropical fruits and resiny hops and some sweet biscuit malt.

The flavor is sweet biscuity toffee malts with a little tropical fruit and a decent amount of bitterness but not a lot of flavor from the hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit watery with smooth carbonation.

    Overall, an OK IPA.

Pours a hazy marmalade color. Head is medium sized and frothy. Head retains quite well. Head also leaves some lacing. Has an almost hempy aroma. Also, there is a ton of juicy citrus hops. Light pine and grassy as well. Nice hop profile. Malt backing helps to balance the nose a tad but this one is all about the hops. The flavor stresses a bright and juicy citrus theme. Tastes like clementine flesh. Very lively and bright. Not very intense, but the flavor is nice and it goes down very easily. Finishes a bit grassy and the malt is smooth.Light and easy to imbibe.

Strong aroma is quite hoppy with an undertone of grapefruit. It pours a nice clear amber with a fairly thick pale wheat head. Flavor is typically hoppy, not at all bitter, with malty and citrus hints. Body leaves something to be desired, but not the lively fizz. If not a miraculous IPA, worth at least a try.

A pretty slick easy drinking and low abv ipa. Some pone spice and soft citrus fruit combine with a pretty hearty malt backbone. Probably good really fresh. Had at about two months old.

Pours orange amber with not much head but tons of lacing. Citrusy aroma. Mouth is hoppy with a bit of a sweet finish. Flavor profile is great, another fantastic Clown Shoes offering.

pours a gold caramel .. medium foam .. light lacing .. stab! .. light pine and sap, good dose of bitters but fair .. . you stabbed her .. . slick thin mouth but not overly complex just a quick session brew .. . .

Hey, chicken, I'm not joking around, okay? This is the real thing,
I mean this could be huge! All right, well, think about it.
Say hi to your mother for me, alright? Now I'm gonna talk to a goat

This is about as good as an IPA gets. A little more flavor would put this in the elite of the upper-tier. For only 5.5% ABV, this is quite rich, malty but with a good hop balance. Has some characteristics of a DIPA (rich in flavor, hoppy, lots of citrus), but without the ass kicking. I am really loving Clown Shoes.... slowly becoming my favorite of the Northeast.

An orange colored beer with a healthy foamy textured off white head. Good hang time. Settles into a moderate ringlet. Grapefruit, citric and pine hop profile. Light, crisp and refreshing
