Beer Description:
The Grand Marnier oak-aged stout is served in a firkin (a 10.8 gallon metal cask) in the traditional method, which is cellar temperature and naturally carbonated (usually a little less). To create this, we put our Jemmy American Stout into the firkin and infused with American oak that had been aged with Grand Marnier. The base Jemmy stout uses 11 different grains, yielding a very complex beer with notes of coffee, chocolate, dark fruits, caramel, and toffee, which all pair well with the orangey character of the Grand Marnier.
