According to Lauren, the imaginator of this pucker-pleasing ale, Lychee Fruit is so insanely sweet and flavorful you almost can’t stand it alone. Sour to the rescue! The combination of our barrel-aged sour beer, Lychee Fruit puree, and cinnamon sticks pours a frothy head of tart perfection.

22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange gold with a medium creamy white head that goes to a thin film and laces the glass.

The aroma is dry tart fruits with maybe some brett and cinnamon.

The flavor is tart sour tropical fruits with a dry almost vinous and slightly acidic finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation

. Overall, a nice tart fruity and dry sour. More fruits than sour.

A very interesting lips of faith edition. Super light beer, very cloudy and kinda gross looking but very solid sour aroma and a taste that is hard to describe. It wasn't overly sour at all, a nice sweetness from the fruit and a little shot of cinnamon to add another dimension. Very nice beer, not nearly as face puckering as some of their other sours.

Pours a gold peach .. medium foam, lacing is good .. . quite a lot of cinnamon, light fruit, tame cherry, and canned lychee .. . light mouth .. . light on the tartness, but the cinnamon just kills any real enjoyment for me- shame, this beer could have been amazing, but no, add a shit spice and this drops to just average .. . . a black guy named bruce lee? ya, i wouldn't fuck with him..

Shit yeah! Had this on tap at Bailey's and loved it. NB never ceases to amaze me. Poured in my sniffer, it's a semi hazy orangeish, golden colour. Not much head, not much froth. Nose is distinctly sour fruits. Palate is mostly the same. Beautiful flavors, super vibrant fruits, spicy notes, a little earth. Fantastic beer.

Strong, tart aroma has a decided overtone of sour apple. It pours a hazy solar yellow with a thick, if not persistent, white head. Flavor has a malty core and an overtone of sour apple, plus a hint of fruity and honey sweetness and a touch of berries. Blackberries? Blueberries? Schnozzberries? Tartness is firm but not fierce or overwhelming. Smooth texture has good, firm body and subtle ragged fizziness. Some of the distinctive flavor must come from that mysterious Lychee. A good one!

Lychee is an interesting fruit. This had a nice aroma and feel. Tart but not sour, no hint of an abv of any kind. Aroma slightly funky and fruity. Distinctly Unique. Flavor even better. Just another level of complexity. Very nice fruity sweet mellow sour ale. Cinnamon far more evident in the bottle 9/12

Review #1600! On tap @ Suttree's High Gravity Tavern, the new beer bar in downtown Knoxville. Hazy but bright yellow orange pour in the tulip glass, tight short head, good lacing and carbonation. Tart yeasty funky fruity aroma, lemons, limes, sweet oranges, lemonade, peaches, 7-Up, floral hops. Tart and kickass flavor - good pucker factor! - tart citrus fruits, lemonade, funk and yeasts, peaches, more floral hops - very amply hopped - nice tart and bitter linger. Super refreshing - great addition to the Lips of Faith line; enjoy this one this summer.

Hazy light gold pour with a sticky white head. I'm not sure what a lychee smells or tastes like but this is a very good beer. Lots of peach, oak, floral and honey notes in both aroma and taste. Very sour/tart that leaves me puckering up for another sip.

The beer pours a hazy, honey gold color with good head retention and lacing. The nose is impressivve and probably the best aspect of this beer, never having tried a lychee i have to assume what that floral presence is, along with some peach and light honey. The sour/tart aspect is pretty dominant, the flavors actually seemed a bit muddled to me but some oak, fruit, earth and grainy malts are in the mix. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a sour tart finish. Alcohol is slightly noticeable but hidden fairly well. Overall an interesting beer, i liked it.
