Wheaty aroma has a decided berry overtone - must be elderberries. Pours a pretty clear bright yellow with a very thick, though effervescent, eggshell head. Flavor is wheaty and yeasty, and the slightly sour elderberry note holds its own. Even a bit of hops makes an appearance. Texture is quite fizzy and smooth, though a tad thin. What a beer to welcome Fall!

Refreshing, but very very simple. Wasn't impressed by the nose or flavor, as a fruit beer, or as a Weiss. Semi sweet without any depth to the wheat ale. Meh...

I enjoyed this beer. I had this beer at a wrok picnic. Very refreshing and clean. Nothing overwhelming about the berry presence. I wouls have this again. As an aside, I LOVE the label art.

Pours a fairly clear gold, with swirls of yeast cascading downwards from the creamy, medium sized head. A substantial amount of small bubbles rises from the bottom of the glass. Head stays intact all the way down the glass. Leaves behind a few large splotches of lacing. The aroma is nice aroma of wheat malt and yeast with hints of elderberries upon opening the bottle. Wheat becomes the dominating aroma once in the glass. The taste is wheat malt upfront. The body is a mix of wheat malt, hints of yeast with banana phenols, and an underlying sweetness from the elderberries. Flourish of wheat as the beer passes over the back of the tongue leads to another berry, wheat and yeast mixture similar to the body. The mouth feel is on the heavier side of light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Well....I'll admit. This is about what I expected. At first, did not care much for it. Grabbed in the summer variety pack, so took me a while to get to the other two. With the 2nd and 3rd, it grew on me. Not enough to want again really. Just found it more drinkable than my first sample. The basis of the beer isn't too bad. The fruit throws the balance off somewhat. Probably better paired with some kind of light to medium meal.

Light straw yellow-orange pour, nice tall white head, some lacing. Weak tart and almost falsely sweet berry aroma, wet wheat and malts. Flavor is weak, thin and only decently tart and fruity-berry. Not a good beer. The only redeeming quality of this beer is the elderberry and that is weak at best. I actually poured 2/3 of this one out. Life's too short for bad beer.

Aromas of berries, malts, and wheat. Body is a hazy orange, not much in the ways of head or lace. Flavor starts with a sweet elderberry taste and quickly goes to the wheat and malts. A bit thin, and an almost artificial flavor from the berries, but i liked it.

A brownish-orange colored beer with a small soapy textured off white head that settles fairly quickly. A thick soapy ringlet is left behind. A strong berry-wheat profile. Medium bodied, well carbonated. Refreshing
