Fruity hops blend with ample biscuit and Carmel malts on the nose and flavor. Better than average for a style I'm not usually crazy about, but not worth going out of your way for.

A murky amber-orange colored beer with a two finger foamy textured off white head. Some hang time on that head. Settles into a light spray aside the glass and thin ringlet. The profile is sweet and fruity. A little too so for my more enthusiastic posting. Light medium bodied.

Pours a nice clear amber with an average off-white head. Malty aroma is a little fruity and a little yeasty, promising if not outstanding. Flavor is mainly malty with some fruit and a hoppy-bitter undertone. Not too shabby. Smooth texture has about average body and fizz. Overall, fair to middlin'.

A beer if the month club entry for Feb/March 2011. A nice surprise, nice complex flavor with out any bad notes! More malty than I expected but the light but boldly present hops gave the brew a pleasantly full presentation. I envy those who can find this brew on a regular basis. Should I move from California, to move into the brew area, well I'll get back to you on that.

12 fl. oz bottle, thanks to BA richgo6. Orange coloured beer, slightly hazy, with a huge off-white head. Nice hoppy aroma, very fruity. The flavour is also quite hoppy throughout, with resinous notes and some malty sweetness. Not bad at all. The style seems more American than English to me, though - but what do I know?

Poured from a bottle to a copper color. Aroma was malty with a hint of alcohol to it. Nothing to get to excited about. To me is was about as basic as a amber ale could get. Not gonna set the world on fire but a very drinkable brew.

From a bottle. Poured a cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is light and floral. Flavor is pretty standard with a nice hoppy bitterness. Light bitter aftertaste. An ok beer, but nothing extraordinary.

I had the Ipswich Original Ale at their Ale House in Newton, MA. It poured a traditional golden body with a small white head. It had a pleasant aroma of flowers. The taste was slightly bitter, but not too bad. A decent pale ale.
