Brewed in Canada by the Labatt Brewing Company
    July 3, 2015
LCBO Outlet #255 (Milton, Ontario, Canada – Main / Bronte)
    340ml aluminum bottle
    6.0% ABV
    $2.00
The beer pours a translucent golden colour with a bubbly soap-like snow white head. The aroma is corn, phenol, and weak floral hops. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grassy malt, alcohol, and metallic notes.

Okay because this was advertised on the Super Bowl a couple of years ago I bought some. The advertising states it's triple filtered and that's where I think they went wrong. They went and filtered out all of the taste and aroma of this beer.

Why this is marketed as a strong light beer and not just Bud Platinum I'll never know. Maybe so as not to cause confusion with the new Bud Crown? ***shrugs*** I could see a macro assuming that the market they are brewing this for would get easily confused ha ha. Anyway, much better than I expected. Quite tasty and full bodied for a macro. I must say well done AB, well done.

Review done from a small sample at the liquor store because why would I ever buy this? Extremely pale yellow, no aroma, taste is full of apple, and macro adjunct. Wasn't overly horrible and not one single redeeming quality either. Lets never speak of this again.

I'll admit, I do like the blue bottle. Too bad that is the highlight of this beer. It is far better than regular Bud Light in that there is some flavor. Sweet and slightly grainy taste and aroma; tastes best when very cold. My biggest gripe is the feeling that AB markets this as a Bud Light that will get you drunker faster.

Now in Canada (brewed by Labatt), in 12-pack aluminum bottles. Why is this called Bud Light, when it is a 6% ABV beer ?? Should of been Budweiser Platinum. Anyways, pours a very pale yellow colour with a fizzy white cap that disappears quickly enough, leaving a little lace. Very lively carbonation. Decent aromas of sweetness and citrus at first with some adjunct finally getting in there. The mouthfeel is kind of creamy, real smooth. The taste is light with some corn and sweet malt in the background. Nothing real bad and I guess the one we have here seems better the A-B version in the States (judging by the reviews).

Been wondering about this one. strange blue bottle, poured a very light yellow, carbonation was good and color was awesome. From there it went down. The taste took me a half glass to pick apart , but mostly its bad. It was a dumper by the time i got to the second half of the bottle.

I had this "beer" at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Roanoke, VA. This beer was really bad. I can actually tolerate Bud Light just fine but this was a sweet mess. Tasted like corn syrup. Miserable. I will not have this again.

Its bud light with a expresso shot. It's over priced for a light beer with a kick i rather drink bud light. just a way to hype somthing up and over charge.

pours a clear, pale yellow, with a thick head of white carbonation which dissipates into absolutely nothing at all. The aroma is subtle. I get almost nothing, maybe a bit of cream corn and maybe a little citrus. The taste is sweet and sticky. Hints of fruity citrus are in there, maybe some hops, but this is way off balance. I'm trying to be fair, but this one barely feels like beer, it's so sweet. Awful, and a challenge to finish.
