Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.

Nowt flash in the appearance. Nice grassy and floral aroma. Sweet and bitter flavours seem to be very separate. Caramel malt, peach and pineapple to start. Pine and earthy finish. Some other odd solvent tasty shit. Full oily sticky lip mouthfeel. Coors light drinkers would not like this.

Strong, hoppy aroma has a note of fresh-cut pine wood and a hint of miso. It pours a nice clear amber with a thick, fluffy white head. Flavor is - WHOA!!! Definitely NOT for the faint of heart! Alcohol bite is the offspring of a pine tree and a liquid pit bull - what a chomp! Other than that, it is like drinking an evergreen tree, ferociously hoppy, quite bitter, with more than a hint of sweet pomme (apple, pear, etc.). Ragged, lively texture will not leave your tongue alone! Molotov Cocktail indeed!

Golden/amber color with small with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, resinous hops, grapefruit, lemon, Juicyfruit gum, fresh flowers and hints of pine. Sweetness prevails in the taste. Syrupy, sweet hops, citrus, resinous pine sap flavors. Long lasting aftertaste of piney goodness and a bit of lemon pith. Mouthfeel is full smooth. Alcohol is well hidden. The sweetness is directly related to the 13% abv in this beast. Not sure I could have more than one of these in an evening, but this beer is a hop bomb of massive proportions. An over the top IIPA. If you like big, hoppy beers, you owe it to yourself to give this one a try.

Big Ass IPA alert. Amber gold pour with a short head, some lacing. Big syrupy fruity grapefruits honey floral resiny biter bastard. Bracingly bitter and big. Not for the faint of heart.

On tap at 10 East -

If I typed "overly-sweet" 100 times would that count as a review? Because this was a huge sugar malt bomb that would be better sold as a barleywine or a strong ale. But an IIPA? Where did the hops go? Did they get candied? Heavy sugar/fruit malts, harsh alcohol and more sugary malts. The finish is a bit bitter, but the cloying nature of the beeer only enforces the fact that this is a train-wreck.

12 oz bottle, bottled on 7/31/13. Pours golden amber with a medium creamy off-white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet caramel malts, tropical fruits and alcohol.

The flavor is heavily sweet and sugary fruity malts with big bitterness in the finish (that doesn't really dry out the cloying sweetness) and quite a bit of harsh alcohol. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation.

Overall, a bit of a mess, cloyingly sweet with some bitterness and a ton of alcohol. Reminds me of DFH 120 minute IPA.

Good for me I drinking this straight from the bottle because I'm moving tomorrow and all my glass wear is packed. Looks like a brown bottle with beer in it. Wholly crap that's an intense beer, massive beer. Sticky sweet caramel hints of vegetable, intense hops with huge heat behind the bitter. Old pine, mellow grapefruit, finishes with floral honey. massive but not harsh. Good beer that I will completely forget about later this week.

starting to trend towards a 120-Minute type IIPA. Very sweet, though it fades and leaves behind a nice kick of bitter citrus and spice in the aroma and flavor. Thick bodied. Hides the abv reasonably well.
