    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

750mL bottle pours nice and dark with dark mahogany edges and mocha head. The aroma comes across as both sweet and roasty with sweet raisins and a touch of prunes mixing with dark roasted malts, a dash of coffee and burnt malts and a sliver of chocolate malts too. Behind those notes are soft aromatics of smooth sweet bourbon, wood and a sense of vanilla. The taste enters pretty creamy and smooth and lets loose rich dark roasted malts, some burnt malts and chocolate malts. As with the aroma there are modest smooth slick notes of sweet smooth bourbon, brown sugar and wood and tiny bits of sweet vanilla all melding into the roasted malt and coffee goodness. Overall the mouth feel is smooth but a touch thin too.

Pours opaque coffee wit a thin but serviceable light tan head. Aroma offers roast malt, caramel, molasses and coffee tones. Flavor presents roast malt, coffee, molasses and subtle caramel notes. Mouthfeel features firm, viscous body and fair fizz. You won’t be Bohr-ed.

Big Bottle .. . worst episode ever .. . Pours a deep brown .. medium foam .. lacing is light .. . light spots of rum, touch of pie spice, and a sugary roast .. . wasn't expecting much from the ingredients list but it was nice .. . . that horse don't take no guff from nobody!

Shared bottle at RBNAG 2011 in Oslo. Black colour, no head. Intense aroma of dark malts, molasses and raisins. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, with loads of alcohol.
