This medium bodied porter has notes of roasted and chocolate malt, making it a perfect balance of sweet and bitter. Generous hops give this brew a dry finish.

The beer is a solid black color, the head is light brown, very creamy, and leaves a lot of lacing. The aroma is roasted malt, crushed nuts, dark chocolate, and leather. Mouthfeel is above average, almost full. The flavor is black coffee with hints of vanilla and nuts. Enjoyable, but not outstanding.

Big roasted malts and just a touch of hops. Maybe a little Smoke and coffee too. Aroma and taste just about identical. Dry and thin. Good but not great.

The last beer from Brett. Pours a dark reddish brown. Nice sized head. Sticky resinous lacing. Chocolate, wood and earth on the nose. Taste is moderately acidic, but soft and chewy texture. Caramel malt and noticeable fruit. Thanks Brett, your beers were a treat!

(Now labeled Paradise Porter) - this Arkansas beer courtesy of Brett from a recent trade. Pours a clear dark bronzie-black with an ample tight head and plenty of lacing. Nice roasted malts aroma with some cocoa and a touch of java. Taste is very smooth with a nice roasted malt quality and smooth finish. Nice porter.

Pours a deep, opaque brown with frothy, lasting head (even after spending 30 hours in a growler.) The malty aroma is nutty and earthy, sweetish overall. Pleasant, rounded flavor with hearty malt profile and ample hopping to make for a bitter-clean finish. Medium bodied with soft, gentle carbonation. Impressive showing by Diamond Bear. A big thank you to Dansting, Caddylac, & Timmy for thoughtfully hauling it to us.

Sampled from growler, a gift from the Beertrip 3.5 guys (dansting, caddylac, timmy). Pours clear, dark ruby-brown. Excellent head and lacing. Subtle mocha aroma with some faint fruit. Perfectly balanced and a bit dry in the finish. Cocoa and toasted malts. Very light fruit exters. Medium-full body and light-moderate carbonation. Very well-made. An excellent porter.
