Clear black ruby, brown fluffy lacing foam head. Strong bitter coffee aroma. Taste coffee, light bitter hops, clover, some chocolate tones. Lasting bitter aftertaste. (Velp 201412)

Cask@CPH BF 2011. Black colour, not too much head. Aroma is liquorice, toffee, some ashes, mild alcohol as well as some wooden and mildly toasted notes. Flavour is quite much the same. Rather bodied imperial stout. Brilliant balance.

Cask at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Black colour. Sweetish aroma with roasty notes of coffee, liquorice and dark chocolate. Fairly sweet flavour with distinct roasty notes, coffee, liquorice and dark chocolate again, hints of dark dried fruits, some bitterness. Well balanced and truly enjoyable.
