    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

Presentation: It was poured from a brown12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Appearance: It has a large frothy white head that has very good retention and make great rings of lace with each sip. The body has a light honey color with a slight haze. Smell: The aroma is wonderful and well balanced. It has sweet bready malt with some buttery notes as well as some fruity notes and mild floral hops in the nose. Taste/Mouth feel: The flavor matches the aroma with a solid malty base that brings buttery and fruity notes with perfectly balanced hop bitterness and flavor. Some of the fruity notes include elderberry and black currant and the hops give some floral and herbal notes to the party. The palate has a smooth silky texture with soft carbonation, a medium body and slow lightly bitter fading finish. Notes: Wow, I really enjoyed this easy drinking and refreshing ESB!!!

This beer poured a clear golden color with a frothy white head. It had a light malty aroma with hints of hops. Showed a clean flavor with a perfect balance. Would make a nice session beer.

This beer poured with a dark golden to light amber colored body topped off by a smallish white head that left little to no lace down the sides of the glass. The aroma is sweet malts with light citrusy hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and fairly drinkable. The flavor was mild with some fiant fruity flavors, floral hops and caramel.

Thanks to moejuck for this beer It pours clear golden with a slightly malty aroma. The flavor is well balanced between hops and malt, with neither being strong nor dominant. It finishes slightly tartly. All in all, a good session brew.

Poured a golden to amber color with a generous head that didn't lace much. Aroma was light toffee, bready, citrus, and some light ester type fruits. The flavor was all of the aroma with some light caramel and biscuity aspects mixed in there. The European hopping is a great thing, musty, light resinous, and light floral and citrus flavors. This was a hit with me (in a style I'm not a huge fan of) and I distance myself with any such reviews declaring this "American" hopped (j/k w/ my boy doulos).

Poured into a pint glass and later into a pils glass, the pils is the way to go. Dark bronze color with a thin white head, tons of sticky lacing and bountiful carbonation. This is a nice looking beer. The aroma is favored by a sharp hop scent backed by some subtle malts, nice scent but it should be more abundant. Mouthfeel is also sharp and crisp with an ample fullness. The flavor is real nice, generous amounts of flowery hops are present. The malts are subtle and there are tiny overtones of citrus hop flavors. Somewhat similar to their Dortmunder Gold this is an enjoyable ale.

This was a bit of a disappointment, I must say. I've been really liking all my Great Lakes adventures, and ESB is one of my fav. styles. That being said, I'll sound like eaglefan538 for a min, and bash this one for having the wrong hop character for an English style. The beer poured nice, pale orange with a nice head and lacing. The aroma was bready and...orange/citrusy? The flavor was the same...with a little of the biscuity/bready/malty flavor that I'm liking in my ESB's. It was a little weak and the hops were very subtle...but like I said, they were citrus hops...which seemed a bit out of place. This is a nice refreshing beer, with a nice smooth mouthfeel and I'm not saying it's a bad beer...would be great on a summer day (a bit weak all around), but I wouldn't call it an ESB. I don't know what I'd call it...American Bitter?

Bottle, thanks Adam (atpayne). Pours coudy orange with a head that dissapears quick, leaving traces of lace. What a sweet aroma for an ESB (God bless America). Taste has an awesome earthiness with an even better maltiness. The yeast flavor is unusual and grows on me with every sip. Crispy hop flavor rounds it out nicely. Medium bodied with some finishing falvors of sour tangerine.

Classic Great Lakes. Very similar to the other Great Lakes beers, this is a seasonal Cleveland creation and you'll find it hoppy, fruity and very flavorful. It was "Named after Cleveland's Moondog Coronation Ball of 1952, at which the phrase "rock and roll" was coined." Worth trying!
