Black, no foam. Aroma if bourbon, taste of American Bourbon. Nice soft taste. I do not consider this a beer, didn’t drink it as a beer. But very, very good nevertheless. (Velp 201501)

This offering truly expands on where an Imperial Stout can go. Thick and luscious with a heavy dark fruit, raisin and tobacco influence followed by charred wood, bourbon, port wine, chocolate and licorice. Out of bounds based on the standards of this style and into the stratosphere for quality, an exceptional bottle. Only low rating goes to the appearance, and this only because it's relatively under-carbonated. However this does not take away from the beer at all in my opinion.
