This Coffee Stout is a perfect balance of stout and coffee notes. Flavor notes: Subtle earthiness with prominent coffee, vanilla, chocolate, and toffee flavors. Pairs with: Anything nutty, chocolatey, or toffee-flavored, along with most deserts. Our Coffee Stout is made with a secret roast from local Black Dog Coffee Company out of Summit Point, West Virginia.

    named Kujo on the label...I agree with Thomas on this one? Possibly FD's best. Wonderful coffee aroma, and well blended into the roasted malt and chocolaeyness of the flavor. Only subtle hops come through. Smooth and highly drinkable.

    I picked this beer up at a local bottle shop in Roanoke, VA (by the Farmer's Market). This beer was great (Batch 2). It smelled incredible (coffee and caramel) and tasted like fine, full roasted coffee. I would have this again in a second. This may be Flying Dog's best offering yet. This brewery gets better and better every year. Proud to be from Maryland with a brewery like this!
