    This is described as an Imperial IPA, but is anything but. The alcohol is noticeable enough that maybe a strong ale moniker is in order. It pours a cloudy amber colour with a decent sized light brown head. The aroma is caramel, and hops, and the alcohol is noticeable. The flavour is definitely affected by the alcohol with a definite pronounced sweetness.

    7.5% abv on the bottle. Hazy copper colour pour. Large head retains and laces well. Sweet caramel malt aroma with a bit of earthiness. Flavour has a sweet start, then citrus fruits with an earthy dry finish. I would buy this beer again but definitely not at this price or size of bottle.

    On tap at Arrow and Loon. Pours no head whatsoever and has a murky dark brownish swamp water appearance. Weak lacing. Aromas are quite faint, malty and a bit sweet. Flavours of light malts, caramel, very lighr earthy and floral hops. Not very bitter at all, especially for an impy ipa. Hops are not very apparent in this one, very mild. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Pretty good.

    Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with frothy-creamy off-white head with good retention and loads of lace. The aromas are quite nice with lots of spices over the grassy hops. Citrus and light caramel form the base. The taste has the same things but with hints of vanilla, probably from the Belgian Ale yeast. Everything is quite nice here, with some well-balanced bitterness and dryness. Now, at 7.5% ABV. a real good Imperial IPA.

    An amber orange color - smallish cap doesn't last. Pleasant aroma of a fresh ale: fruity, hoppy, earthy...some sweet malt. Flavor is much as its aroma. Not well balanced, a bit sweet for the style and a bit thin. Malty sweetness with some earthy resinous hopping, clean finish not very bitter. Very pleasant but I wonder about the double IPA tag.
