Our IMPERIAL INDIA PALE ALE is a hopped-up version of beers made famous during the British Raj over a century ago. Big malt, bold hops and a higher-alcohol content all mean one thing: more flavour. TASTING NOTES Full bodied with a long bitter finish. Boasts marmalade and citrus peel flavours with a hint of pine. FOOD PAIRINGS Hoppy bitterness nicely balances out the spice in rich curries.

Poured a bright and clear copper under three fingers of creamy tan head. Aroma was superior, with lots of hop (they're billing this as 100 IBU!), grapefruit, and a trace of pine needle. For the taste, there was plenty of hop bitterness, plus the citrus and pine. Rich, smooth mouthfeel. Easily the best from GI in quite a while.

Really tastes alot like the new Hop Head double from Tree. High in alcohol and it is hidden well, however, there is no bold hop profile and it is not very bitter. Most dominant flavour would be pine, with some wet cedar. Touch grassy, with some lemon drink crystals. Looks brilliant! Awesome crimson orange which is very vibrant. Really dig the colour. Smells like it tastes, a bit thicker that I was expecting, somewhere between medium and full bodied. Low carbonation which suits this beer. Probably the best release from GIB as far as I can tell.
