From 1925 until 1939 Kansas City was controlled by the powerful political boss Thomas J. Pendergast, whose "goat" faction feuded with rival "rabbits" for partisan dominance. The atmosphere of graft and lawlessness fostered a boom in jazz clubs and speakeasies earning our town the title "Paris of the Plains".

    Crisp, malty aroma has a fruity undertone and a hint of cloves. It pours a pretty clear amber, average but still appealing. Flavor is crisp and malty with hints of caramel and hops and a touch of apple. Smooth texture has decent body and plenty of fizz, leaving a malty, woody finish that has a whisper of caramel and fruit. Bock it to me. ;)

    Rather lager like in apperance, aroma and flavor. Aromas and flavors of grass, and malts, the finish is dry and long. Golden body not much carbonation or head to speak of. Overall its not quite what i was expecting but its not bad.

    Nice beer, not sure why the low scores. Hmm.. Pours a bright golden, big fluffy white head. Aroma is sort of boozy, herbal and hoppy. Taste is hop filled, citrus fruits, and semi spicy. Miss Boulevard being in Wisc :(

    i'm good about washing my face .. . Pours a deep caramel, really good foam .. . light spice, molasses, and instant oatmeal .. . decent i guess but it won't win top show anytime soon .. . can it borland!

    It pours a light golden wiht a thin white head and some lace. A flat aroma of oatsy malts, light citrus, and not much else. The mouthfeel is fairly smooth. Flavors of oat malts, light hops, citrus, bitters and tart, and light spices. It's okay..
