the fruit in this was pretty subtle, especially in the nose, but it was showcased well. if this were not a slightly older bottle i think this beer would've been awesome. as it was, it was a little more malt forward and thicker than i'd prefer, but even with that, i enjoyed it quite a bit. if i ever see a fresh one, i'd get it in a heartbeat.

An orange-amber colored beer. A big frothy textured, off white head rises robustly above. There's great hang time on this one. It settles eventually into a thick ringlet that spreads out onto the body. It is all hops, citric and pine in the nose and tasting. Some gentle fruit comes through as it sits breaths. Nice light-medium body. really smooth.

Very similar to the peach IPA sampled earlier in base malt and hop profiles. The papaya offers a different compliment to the citrus flavors from the hops. Very sturdy for an IPA and approachable.

Had this at CCB on tap. Poured an orange/amber with a two-finger, off-white head. Nose is pine, sugar/molasses and dried fruit. I DO like the taste of this - hops evident up front but they quickly give way to fruit and malt. Bitterness is meduim and what is there is moderated by the sweetness, especially in the finish. For me, there is a very pleasing aftertaste. Mouthfeel is heavier than medium, there is moderate carbonation and it is, not surpringly, a little sticky. Wish I could get more of this as I preferred it over the other Jai Alai's i have tried.
