Who knew that a hedeweizen could be made in Quebec......a province far closer to belgian beer styles than German. Technically, this is a 'smoked hefeweizen' which I guess would be a Heferauchbier'. A cloudy golden yellow with a generous white foamy head. Smoke is the aroma with hints of sweet fruit, wheat, and citrusy hops. Refreshing flavour with a hint of sweetness. A great session ale.

The beer poured a cloudy pale gold colour with a huge frothy white head. The aroma was banana, citrus, and a nice smokiness that lingered. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, slightly creamy, with mild carbonation. The flavour was wheat malt, smoke, and a touch of sweetness.
