This Belgian style, spiced golden ale is made with Belgian pale malt and light candi sugar. There are generous additions of goldings and saaz hops that give the beer an uncharacteristically well-hopped kick. As usual with this style of ale, the yeast of the Ardennes region asserts its own character into the mix, adding slight banana, clove and peppery notes. Coriander seed blends into the flavor profile for a well rounded brew. By the time you figure out what all you're tasting, it'll be time for another. At 6.5% ABV, another pint is not out of the question. OG: 16.3bx/1.063/15.5P FG: 8.6bx/1.0137 6.5% ABV 3.9 SRM 30 IBU

I swung by the Green Dragon Pub after visiting the Cascade Barrel House. It's not even a block and a half away! Despite an awesome tap list of 50 local brews, I opted for one of their own. This farmhouse had a pure white head over a clear yellow beer. Nice musty farmy aroma. Spicy and a little sweet. Medium body and very cream. Good lacing. Sweet with mild drying in the finish. Not like other farmhouses I've had, but that's not a bad thing. A little flowery from the hops.
