The beer pours a slightly hazed gold colour with light orange edges, The head is off-white and rocky, It doesn’t last very long. The aroma is light grapefruit, grains, pine, and weak caramel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly creamy, and average carbonation. The flavour is citrus forward, grassy, with a bitter hop finish. A decade ago this was often listed in Top 10 lists for Canada’s best IPAs, and I loved it, but I can’t believe what I had today is the same IPA served in 2010.

Pours bubbly golden with a thick buff head. Aroma delivers resiny hop and citrus notes, not strong but demanding a taste. Flavor tugs resiny and somewhat bitter hops, grapefruit, orange, and fresh malt notes across the palate - definitely enjoyable! Mouthfeel features firm body and lively if not strong fizz. Tug one home!

Presentable beer with a decent head which retains and laces well. Grapefruit and pine in the aroma. Flavour has grapefruit, pine, melon and some pepper. The bitterness is balanced with sweet malts. Very drinkable. Hope this becomes a permanent feature at the LCBO

Pours a mildly hazy golden-orange colour with and off-white frothy head, good retention and lots of lacing. Beautiful aromas of grapefruits, caramel malts, tangerine and decent hops. Slick smooth mouthfeel heading over to a mild dry end. Again, some grapefruit in the taste with a little more zest, and some nice caramel background. A little more on the sweeter, fruity side then grassiness. Very easy to drink the whole bottle.

Pours a very nice frothy off-white head and has an orangey appearance. Thick patchy lacing. Aromas of piney and citrus hops, lots of fruity notes, some tropical fruit hints. Flavours are also quite fruity, strong citrusy notes, also some sweet malts and hints of caramel. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Slight warming tingly sensation on the palate. Pretty good.

Grapefruit and melon? No way! Peach, apricot and melon! Wickedly dry hopped. Probably one of the best IPAs out of BC. Clear golden in look, slightly to the darker side of gold. Good head retention. Body is medium. Pine shows up as it warms. Latent bitterness that in the begginning is attractive but seems to detract from the beer when it gets warmer. Overall happy with this beer. West Coast standard.

From Firefly. Poured a rocky white head over a body of clear, medium gold. Aroma was nicely hopped, paired with pine needles. Flavour was likewise, and there was a bite to this one, courtesy of the hops. Mouthfeel started out too thing, but improved towards the end. Nice embossed bottle.
