Beer poured light and hazy. Odd fruity aroma...what is that familiar aroma? Green apples, yup. It tastes like green apples, too, with a funky wheat yeast undertone. Not sure all these flavors belong together, but I give them credit for trying. I wouldn’t do it again, though.

You gotta give this one high marks for originality. Pairing a cider with a beer, who'd dunk? Well this does work. It is a cloudy yellow color, like a wheat beer. A medium sized, soapy textured, white head rises briefy above. There is no lacing on this one. I guess that is the cider side of the family. The nose to a lesser extent, the taste, both speak of apples, cider in a medium bodied base.

Hmmm.. Thought it was a biere de garde at first, but now this all makes sense. BRight fuzzy yellow colour, bubbly, yeasty and slighty sour with some spices noticeable midpalate. Pear and green apple all the way through.
