Shared 650 ml bottle, as Rogue Farms OREgasmic Ale, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 6.0%. 90 IBU. Hazy orange to brown colour, moderate off-white head. Moderate hoppy aroma. Distinctly hoppy and bitter flavour, moderate malts in the background. Grapefruity and resinous notes, some earthy notes too. Very bitter aftertaste.

Single from the LCBO with a 6.5% ABV written on a sticker. Pours a hazy deep amber colour with a frothy-creamy yellow-beige coloured head, great retention and full sticky lace. Aromas are quite fruity with a blend of the grapefruit, orange, pine, grass and some malts, caramel, dark fruits notes. You can taste that these hops are homegrown, as they are fresh and grassy. A nice mild bitterness holds all the way and becomes a stronger in the aftertaste with some burnt malts and hints of wood. For those who like a grassy-bitter pale ale that feels fresh. Hops from the backyard.

Pours a huge amount of frothy light brownish head and has a dark amber appearance. Thick dirty lacing. Aromas are hops, bready malts and mild spices. Flavours are Munich malts, floral and herbal hops. Not as hoppy as expected. A bit of spiced hops. Very well balanced between hops and malts. Slightly yeasty as well. Creamy and slick mouthfeel. Quite smooth on the palate. Great stuff. Easy to drink. Not too bitter, even at 90ibu which is somewhat deceiving.

On tap @ the bent elbow - pours an orange hazed gold with a frothy white 2 finger cap. Moderate carbonation. Aroma is fruity with both citrus and apricot, sturdy cara-malt aroma and some light mustiness. Medium bodied put light on the palate. Flavor is caramel malty, fruity, well balanced between bitter citrus hopping and sturdy malting, clean and dry in the finish with a decent hop bite at the end. A very easy drinking west coast pale

The beer poured a transparent golden copper colour with a this light tan head that laced well. The aroma was caramel, light fruits, and citrusy hops. Mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour was similar to the aroma with the grapefruit punch of the hops coming through.

Well ma friends. This is a tastey beer. I've had it several times now. At the Rogue tent at the Rogue festival in Portland. At Rogue in Eugene. Rogue in Portland. Bottles. It's still good stuff. And underlooked in my opinion. Packs quite the punch. Pours a golden amberish colour. Hoppy nose, hoppy flavors and some decent boozy quality.

On tap at Reds Alehouse in NOrth Liberty, IA. Pours a cloudy orange pour with a medium head. Smell of hops, bubblegum, and pine. Hoppy and somewhat sweet in flavor. A nice beer.

Deep copper pour with a bubbly thick near-white head and heavy lacing. Light grapefruits, some toffee and general earthiness in the aroma for the beer. Earthy taste too, with the citrus hops bitter upfront, then offset by a generous malty sweetness giving way to more bitterness and a nice linger. Nice effort from Rogue and very easy to drink - very tasty too.

Pours a brownish white, creamy head, with a dark bronze, hazy beer. Aroma is sweet, citrus and toffee. Soft, medium body with a bitter hop bite at the end. Good lacing. Sweetness starts to become a little slick, with a powerful hop bitterness. I loved it at first, but then it started getting a little tiresome. Still a good beer, but a little on the expensive side.

A reddish, dark burnt orange color. "Fireburst." Light orange colors at the bottom. Cloudy. Beautiful, creamy, smooth off white "eggshell" colored head with nice girth and retention and consistent full lacing. Looks really, really good. Exceptionally well balanced aromas of malts and hops. Grapefruit and mango. Caramel sweetness. Not over the top characteristics, but enchanting and congenial. Some orange zest. Floral. Fresh and clean. Some piny notes. The taste revealed a prevalent biscuit tone coinciding with the grapefruit citrus and bitterness. Again, balanced very nicely. Caramel sweetness. Hop bitterness comes in strong right before the swallow. Very round and even. Not harsh. Some orange comes through in the taste also. Medium mouthfeel. Dry, smooth, crisp and refreshing. Plenty of flavor left on the palaste. A bit of "bite" left behind. Started to get a little thin toward the end. This is a great, great brew. Super easy to drink. Will definitely pick it up again if I can find it. I found myself taking big gulps and really enjoying it. It may not have had the greatest characteristics, but they were good enough to satisfy me.
