Nebraska Chardonnay French Oak Melange A Trois

Pours a hazy apricot with a nice eggshell head. Malty aroma has a strong note of sour fruit and a hint of yeast. Flavor has a malty core that supports notes of hops and sour fruit plus a hint of yeast. Firm, fizzy texture leaves a tingly and somewhat sour finish.

First Nebraska beer of the night. Not sure what to expect. Aroma just barely hints at being sour but there is no sour present in the flavor. Fruity, with coconut and oak, and a nice belgian golden underneath. Very good brew, if a little overpriced. Super smooth like the others.

I have been holding onto this one for quite awhile. Bottle poured into two wine glasses, massive carbonation with a yellow/orange and a slight haze. The aroma is really nice, a musky blend of grapes, oak, and funk. This is SUPER dry, but really pleasant. Flavors of oak and vanilla and subtle hints of the wine barrel pop up, lending a nice tartness that makes this really easy to drink at 10 percent. The only drawback is the price - but I really enjoyed this. Truly unique brew.

This Belgium Ale is cloudy, light with a wine-like aroma and flavor. Additionaly, the flavor has a little spice but is also light and playful on the pallate.

Interesting idea but maybe didn't quite execute the way they wanted? Has a Pils type aroma with layers of funk and yeast, wine and whiskey. Body is not that great but not light. Flavor is very dry with oak and belgian notes. not a bad beer, just not sure what the endgame is and i don't think I would go after it again.

An extremely enjoyable beer. A bright golden beer with a white head. Yeast is prevalent in the aroma along with some earthy notes. The flavour is smooth with notes of wood, yeast, and muskiness.

Pours a shimmering gold yellow .. pillowy head, lacing is a light meringue splatters .. . quite fizzy, almost duvel like .. . flavours of wood, honey, spice, belgian yeast, and tattoo gun tip .. . A nice nice beer but it needs to calm down a bit to really make it great .. . You were supposed to be here guarding Bernie!

Sour grape, grapefruit aroma. Huge, sparkling, staying white head that was fluffy on top with large bubbles below. Clear gold color. Very unusual beer. Definitely plays around the tongue with a strange sweetness, a little buttery at the edges, and a dryness at the same time. The Belgian ale yeast flavors actually go very well with the chardonnay and oak. Some spice and pepper from the hops started to come out as it warmed. Definitely worth trying, and obviously my highest rating from the state of Nebraska (and first!)
