A robust brown ale dubbed the Edge of Darkness for coming out so dangerously close to black. In at 6.5% abv and brewed using pale two row malt, caramel malt 60 and 120L and some chocolate malt for color and flavors, and hugely hopped with 8# Bravo for bittering and 55# fresh whole Centennial cones for flavoring.

Why can't all brown ales be like this .. . light whiffs of dark caramel, toffee and pure dark chocolate bar on the tongue .. . very smooth .. . not speedy kids .. . a joy to drink and so awesome on cask! .. . Hank, how'd my head get so fat?
