An orange sunshine in color with a bug sudsy textured, off white head rising above. The head is of short lived duration. The ringlet left is of a moderate size. The nose is muted. But in the total profile I get floral, citric and pine and some strange fruitiness. A little simplicity woyld have worked here. Light, effervescent.

Appearance is a dark copper with half a finger of head. The head dissipates quickly but leaves some lacing behind on the glass. The nose is both piney and hoppy. The upfront flavor is a solid blend of malt and hops. The finish is not nearly as hoppy as top flight IPAs, but this still remains a solid effort. There is a touch of alcohol on the finish as well, but it is not too bad.

Dank hops and a fairy thick brew. I like it but not for the price, as its a good iipa priced higher than many of the best iipas. Citrus peel and a fairly sweet malty base gives way to a big bittersweet finish. On tap tasted older and a little overly malty.

Pours a beautiful clear dark amber with a fairly thick and foamy off-white head that leaves some decent lacing. Aroma is not particularly strong but still invitingly hoppy and has a good undertone of grapefruit. Rich flavor is quite hoppy and has a nice bitter edge to it, as well as a sour citrus note and just a touch of honey sweetness. Full-bodied texture is smooth and tingly, leaving a nice hoppy finish.

and tangerine with hints of caramel. Full-bodied IIpa with notes of resin, flowers, honey and....no expected citric hop blast. Quite sticky and bittersweet finish of resin, brown sugar and grass. Quite a a disappointment after their other other (darker) offerings I’ve sampled.

750ml bottle, bottled on 3/30/10. Pours a clear light amber with a big creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is floral and soapy, fruity (melon), piney hops with a little stinkiness (summit?). It's pretty subdued though.

The flavor is sweet malts with some melon and soapiness. It has a pretty big grassy bitterness with some pepper and stinkiness. There's a huge amount of harsh bitterness that lingers in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with lower carbonation and almost watery.

Overall, I just couldn't get into it. A little reminiscent of Gubna (summit hops?), but not as well done. The soapiness was a little weird too. And it wasn't really well balanced with the abrasive bitterness in the finish.
