English 2-row malt, three crystal malts, three biscuit malts, chocolate malt, nugget and Cascade hops. Opaque, serious black. Dark chocolate and spice in the bouquet. Luxuriant full-bodied traditional style alluding to sweetness while deploying a corrective dab of hops. This porter can carry the weight.

500ml draught 5.7% ABV I tried this beer on tap on March 30, 2011 at 'Duggan's Brewery' in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a dark brown with a light brown foamy cap that lasted throughout. The aroma was darlk chocolate, coffee, and floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, and medium-high carbonation. The flavour was dominated by molasses and coffee, with a nice bitter finish.

I think that it is blasphemous that they can use the name of one of the world's great beers. Dark brown with blackish hints, and a thick creamy light brown head. Roasted malt, coffee, and molasses are in the air. Nice and creamy on the tongue with a great dose of roasted malt flavour and a satisfying bitter end.
