Almost black opaque with little brownish foam ring. Aroma is not strong, coffee and some grass. Taste is malty, coffee, some chocolate, alcohol is present.. Aftertaste is somewhat short, bi hoppy, more coffee. (Velp 201305)

My bottle of Mout & Mocca has a ABV of 11.5%. So not sure this is the same version. Dark brown body to the point of being black, thick creamy crown floats on top. First sip is a massive thick coffee syrup with a lingering chalky bitter finish. Not a big fan of the aroma it seems off. Moldy chocolate, possible vegetable soup? both are wrong but that's all I can think of. Huge coffee, and bakers chocolate finish the aroma. Smooth but a kind of a harsh finish....... ya I said that. Chalky chocolate, almost milky some how. COFFEE!!!! Sigh...I don't seem to be in the mood for this beer tonight. WHOLLY FUCK THE OIL JUST TIED IT UP 4-4 AFTER BEING DOWN 4-1. Hit a big sweet note of cherry in that sip. The bitter chocooffee lingers for ever in my mouth. I can tell this is an epic beer but I don't care. HAHAHA 6-4 OILERS!!!!!! Final thoughts....ash, some how very sweet, other things that taste like descriptive stuff. I can tell this beer is great but I just didn't care tonight.
