Pours clear yellow with a thin white head, typical but acceptable. Crisp aroma is malty with fruity and hay tones. Fruity flavor has undertones of malt and hay - not too shabby for gluten-free. Texture is average in the fizz and viscosity departments. Overall, a decent brewski.

Best before 01/16 on rear label, found in the gluten-free (reduced) section at the LCBO. Pours a golden colour with a creamy-frothy slightly off-white head, good retention and some very good lace. Aromas are pretty close to a normal pilsner. The taste starts off mildly, but the hops kick in the middle with some nice grass. The finish is where you feel the different grains, but it is not offensive. A very well-brewed reduced-gluten beer that I would of never known before reading on it.

Typical european style pils. Clear, light yellow beer with fizzy head. All corn and grass in the nose and tongue. A very sweet beer as well, makes it unbalanced and a bit on the cheap and easy side.

    12oz bottle -

I would have never known that this was brewed without traditional grains. Still has a malty aroma, light dusty hay notes with a bit of fruit cocktail in there. Light corn, buttered bread, with just a smidge of bitterness at the finish. Drinkable.

Pours a pale yellow color. Smell is heavy with grains. Taste is a bit unusual, grains, wet hay, some bitterness, not so good. Overall I was unimpressed with this beer.

Clear pale yellow with bubbly white foam head. Aroma is like regular pilsener, so is taste. Short bitter aftertaste. A pilsener like many. (Velp 201208)

Pours clear, with the standard lager malty flavor. Well executed, but as with most lagers, they taste much the same. So put this one in line for the far future before you go looking for it.

Clear, straw/golden color. Bright white, soapy head. Retention was ok as was the lacing. Several bubbles rising form the bottom. Some patchy lacing was left behind. Clean and fresh smelling. Hints of wheat and grain. Nothing too complex. Relatively straight forward. A dry grain that was fresh and clean and crisp. Some bread and biscuit flavors that seem to be only the slightest bit toasty. Balanced well. Medium to medium/light mouthfeel. Smooth, crisp, dry, thirst quenching and very refreshing. Leaves a small taste on the palate. A true refresher and thirst quencher. Made for the warmer weather. Pretty good. Easy to drink and could be enjoyed by most anyone. Nice little change for me. It's nice to have one of these easy going, no frills beers on occasion.

A cloudy golden colored beer with a medium, foamy textured, white head rising above. Some hang time. Settles into a medium soapy ringlet atop the body and thin, steady film aside the glass. Medium bodied, well carbonated and smooth. The nose and tasting are simple. Grainy and grass.

It pours a light-yellow with thin white head and light lace. An aroma of barley malts, hops, lemon-citrus, some yeast, and spices. The mouthfeel is smooth, full-bodied, and rich. Flavors of barley malts, hops, lemon-citrus, and spiciness. Very flavorful and smooth .. one of the better lagers I've had in awhile.
