Pitch black brown with a 3" brown crown floating on top. Aroma......smells like a two day old camp fire pit a brick of dark chocolate melted in it, did I mention the fresh rubber boot. So much peat so little time. Big heavy malt bomb with chocolate and some much campfire I'm scared. So high quality. My burp was metallic. Blueberry like sweetness but oh so smokey. No alcohol at all in the flavour. So very dry, oh so smoky. Coffee is really coming through when warm. Man this is good.....I got nothing ells to say.

Opaque black, virtually no head. Big fat aroma burnt malts, peat, caramelized sugar, nuts, prunes, cocoa and salty licorice. Full-bodied with thick notes of peat, salt, licorice, black chocolate, tar, burnt sugar and figs. Very low carbonation. Long chewy and medium-bitter finsih of anise, pepper, peated malts and black chocolate.

Bottled (226 out of 360). Pitch black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is dark dry dark fruits, some caramel malts, raisins, licorice, mild alcohol and some slight berries and fruits, Flavour is mild roasted malts, grass, flavour and some licorice as well as dark dry fruits and coffee. This would probably do a good job in wooden oak casks or something. A wellbalanced and nicely roasted imperial stout with coffee and some slight fruity notes. A very complex, yet wellbalanced imperial stout. Can’t say much more than WOW.
