Sampler at the Rock Bottom Westminister on 9/27/2012. This India Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet with nice citrus and grapefruit hops. A medium bodied India Pale Ale The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrus and grapefruit. Decent carbonation, Nice balance. Not sure it’s a ‘hop bomb’, but the hops flavors are nice. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Three goblets enjoyed at the Rock Bottom, Long Beach. Sadly, served in the 12-ounce portion rather than pints, supposedly because of the high ABV. Appearance is so-so, but the aroma and flavour are a hop-head's delight. Oh yes, mouth and finish are not too shabby, either.
