Draught@EBF2008. Black colour, not much head. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, sweet wood, mild notes of syrup and licorice. Flavour is roasted malts, mild alcohol along with some caramel, wood and also licorice. A pleasantly balanced imperial stout.

Pours out in an opaque black colour with a low creamy pale brown head. Rich well-structured aroma of salt, pat, wood, dark chocolate and peppery alcohol. Full-bodied with notes of salt, smoke, roasted malts, nuts, anise, licorice and cocoa. Solid, smooth mouthfeel with a low carbonation. Long warming smooth finish of tar, anise, salt, wood and black chocolate. Beautiful stuff!
