Februar in Baden-Württemberg eingeführt.

The beer pours a very hazy golde-orange with a generous bubbly white head which lasts a few minutes, but does not provide good lacing. Aroma is wheat, bubble gum sweetness, and bananas. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is sweet malt up front with flavours of wheat and banana, somewhat like cereal with fruit. One of the better Erdinger beers in my opinion.

Part of their Variety Pack from this Christmas with a glass. Pours a hazy amber colour with some golden highlights. The head is big in their slim-tall glass, but goes down fast enough to not have to wait too long. Minimal lacing. Big banana aromas from the wheat with hints of bubblegum. The wheat is milder in the flavour with some decent hops in the finish. A light dry end. This is a much lighter Hefeweizen, not as rich and full as most, which helps the drinkability. Still, showing 4.9% ABV so still getting the kick.

Just brewed my first batch of homebrew, and Ive learned all kinds of new things already. I wonder about the yeast flavours here, how much is just the type of yeast and how much is from letting the beer sit on the yeast in primary fermentation. So many new questions! ----------- Otherwise, a slightly more yeasty, zesty, fun version of the normal hefe I think. Bannana, clove and orange, some sourdough springs in for a cameo once in a while. Maybe some fresh cut yellow bell pepper, and a slight taste of the white part of a watermelon. Slight skunk, which I attribute to the handling of the retailer and not the the beer. Slight bit of lactic acid seems to be floating around giving it a buttery texture (like chardonnay or popcorn). Its good, better than the average hef I think.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.2%. When the beer is poured the glass fills completely with a huge white foam, which slowly lets a deep golden hazy beer emerge. Typical hefeweizen aroma with strong notes of cloves, also ripe bananas and bubblegum. The mouthfeel is slightly fuller than the ordinary Erdinger Hefe-Weissbier. The flavour has again sweetish notes of ripe bananas, also moderate notes of cloves. The finish is rather bland with minimal hops.

Bottle, unfiltered. Poured a cloudy medium amber colored Hefeweizen with a huge white foamy head that had a very long retention. Poor lacing. Medium carbonation. The aroma is fruity, banana and yeasts. The flavour is sweet fruity, banana and aciditic fruits, citrus, orange, pinapple, some spices, coriander. The finish of this medium bodied beer is sweet yeasty and a little hoppy. A very tasty and refreshing Hefeweizen.

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Hazy golden/orange colour with mediumsized white head, nice lace. Aroma is fruits, banana, spices, herbs and some wheat. Flavour is wheat, banana, some spices, sweet malts and some caramelly notes. Very wellbalanced and refreshing.
