Labeled as "Maibock" aliased under this entry. Golden amber pour producing a 1" off white head and strong carbonation with sticky lacing. Sweet, chewy, malt driven with a faint bitter kick. Mildly fruity with biscuits and caramel. Fairly tasty, very safe for a Maibock.

500 ml bottle, ABV is 7.5%. Will probably be imported to Norway soon. Deep golden colour, big white head. Aroma of malts with a hint of caramel, also floral hops, a hint of honey. The medium sweet flavour is moderately malty with some honeyish notes, a hint of caramel again. The alcohol is noticeable, but not as disturbing as in some Scandinavian lagers of this strength. Medium bitter hops in the finish.

Sampled on 2/2/2011. This Heller bock/maibock pours a medium orange gold color from a 50cl bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is malt, oranges, alcohol and sweet. A medium bodied Heller Bock. The malts are fruity and sweet, lot of orange flavors. The hops are herbal and slightly spicy. Decent carbonation. Lots of alcohol flavors, some raw grain maybe. Kind of a malty euro malt liquor. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and sharp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with a hint of alcohol.

Pours a light amber color with little head. Sweet, malty aroma with moderate alcohol very noticeable. Slight carbonation. Sweet and strong with malty and slightly sugary taste and very slight hops.

Bottled@Hostina, Helsinki (rating #4000). Amberish orange colour, white head. Aroma is alcohol and some malts and hops. Quite sweet with some bready hints also. Flavour is very much the same, with the breadyness toned down. As it gets warmer a lot of fruity notes become present.
