There are Imperial Stouts, Imperial IPA and even Imperial Red ales. They are all stronger and hoppier versions of regular beer styles. Our bestselling beer at Ølfabrikken is Ølfabrikken Cream Ale. We have decided to pay tribute to our little cash-cow by making an "imperial" version of it. Ølfabrikken Cream Ale is 8% alcohol and 100+ IBUs. As its smaller brother it is characterized by great mouth feel, soft carbonation and great balance between sweetness and bitterness as a result of the 6 month maturation period. Enjoy it with strong soft cheese. Only 1240 bottles has been produced. Of course unpasteurized, unfiltered and bottle conditioned like all of our beers.

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8

A hazy orange colored beer with a medium beige head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy giving it notes of pine and grass, but also with fruity notes in the background. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of hops giving it notes of grass, grapefruit, and pine needles, but also with fruity notes of mango and peaches. After swallowing the alcohol makes its presence know with a heating sensation on the tongue, that combines nicely with the lingering notes from the hops of grapefruit. The mouthfeel is very smooth.
