May 2013: On tap at Haand Festival 2013, Drammen. Black colour, creamy tan head. Mild but pleasant roasty aroma, notes of dark chocolate and mild coffee. Very well balanced flavour, distinctly roasty without ever being rough and coarse, smooth coffee and dark chocolate again, decent hops throughout.

Pours out in a opaque black appearance, topped with a rocky light-brown head. Deep aroma of dark chocolate and sweet coffee with light hoppy hints of wet grass. Soft yet full flavour of dark chocolate, coffee, nuts and cookies. The aftertaste is pretty much the same with a lingenring bitter finish of dark coffee and subtle grassy hops. Not the most complex beer around but the flavours and the mouthfeel is delicious.
