Clear dark brown, tanned lacing foam head. Sweet caramel aroma and taste. Bit too sweet for me abd again disspointed in the quality of Austrian beers. (Vienna 201611)

Ruby red colour, small beige head. Aroma is sweet malts with hints of hops and bread. Flavour is sweet malts and hops with some dark bready hints. Aftertaste is very bready.

It is a lightly sweet brew with a nice malty taste. This is their darker version of their Helles beer and it works good to give the mouthfeel a stark and thick feel. On the presentation there are notes of chocolate, raisen and nuts while the malts overwhelms your tounge. It is a great Austrian beer and is very characteristic of Vienna beers.
