This one’s a beauty; a rich and full-bodied IPA with complex malt character, blended with cascade and noble hops. The end result is a beer that satisfies the “hop head” out there and won’t chase away the newcomer. Drink it. It’s good.

The beer pours a slightly hazed golden amber color, topped with a thin white ring for a head. Lacing is still decent however. The aroma is old school American IPA with hints of citrusy hops, pine, light caramel, and perfumy notes. Mouthfeel is average. Flavor is citrus forward with notes of grapefruit mingling with notes of pine and yeast. Finish is on the bitter side.

From Cottrell, fulfilling my Connecticut beer wish thus marking off one more state from the US/DC map. Light golden amber, ample head, good lacing. Floral, light caramel, hint of spruce in both the nose and flavors. Nice bitter linger throughout, very enjoyable. Huge thanks to Todd.

Wow, love the nose! Floral lavender, lemons, pine and pepper, and its a big nose too. Cloudy (whats up with that, this is the third otherwise delightful IPA's I have had in a can that are cloudy?) pale amber body is topped by a big frothy white head of medium retention ad nice lace. I hate grading an otherwise decent IPA down for being cloudy but what can I do? Mouth is nice, slightly creamy spot on with the carbonation, and slippery. Flavor follows the nose, touch of flowery sweetness with a good malt backbone, very nicely bittered, dry tart clean finish. Very nice IPA, nothing unique but a classic IPA, and almost in the WC style from this New England brewer. Just noticed crud in bottom of glass, not right for an IPA! knocking it down a bit more/

Bronze color and pours a decent sized head with some spotty lacing. Aroma is rather fresh with malts, caramel and sugary, candy hops. Sweet brown sugar flavor, thick toasty malt, caramel, resinous hops and some honey. Finishes slightly bitter and dry. Interesting flavors. It is a bit too sweet and malty of an IPA for my liking but it's a good beer.

A hazy amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and grass. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as grassy hoppy notes.

This beer falls into that "good beer in a can" realm that unfortunately, too few beers can lay claim to. I'd received this can in a trade a few months back, and have kept it in the fridge since. Brewing up a stout when we cracked it open, so no better time to drink.

The aroma had a nice arrary of sweet malt, pine and citrus hops. Nothing overpowered the other, but perhaps the hop profile could have been a bit stronger but still, so far so good. Appearance is on the dark side of the spectrum for IPA's, with a solid dark copper color, an off-white/light tan head with some large bubbles. Flavors again showed the same balance as the aroma...malts, citrus/pine hops but a nice suprise in an earthy quality I found lurking underneath. Not sure where that came from but it was welcome for sure. Very enjoyable beer.

Can from Julio’s Liquor in Mass. Pours with a golden-amber body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. It’s sweet, malty and floral with a slight bitterness, especially in the finiah. Medium bodied and slighty dry.

Wow, now this beer pours with authority! Nice amber, candy colored body with frothy tan head that just sticks around. Aroma is quite pleasant, lots of fresh hops and sweetness-perfect for a hot summer day. Palate is a little thinner than I had surmised by the appearance and aroma, and quite biting. Taste is a little metallic, but nothing terrible. Overall a decent IPa...in a can.

The beer pours read with a thick khaki head. Good retention, and some lace.
The aroma comes off as biscuit and munich malts, and perhaps a bit of pine or grapefruit. The flavor is much of the same. Not even much bitterness here.
Really sort of a weak example of an IPA.
