When it the weather gets cold enough we brew bottom-fermented beers at Ølfabrikken. Based on a fairly traditional malt-bill consisting of German Pilsener malt, light caramel malt and a bit of Munich this beer is unconventionally hopped with American Glacier hops adding notes of citrus and peach, but without overpowering the malts. Ølfabrikken Pilsner is, of course, unpasteurized, unfiltered and cask conditioned like all of our beers. Introduced on 'Københavnske Øldage 2006' and official contestant in the pilsener contest.

330 ml can, at Gladmatfestivalen, Stavanger. ABV was 4.8%. Golden colour, moderate head. Nice Saazer(?) aroma, notes of honey. Tolerably well hopped pilsener flavour.

Hazy golden with large creamy snow-white head. Mild aroma of fresh-baked white bread, wet grass and crackers. Smooth flavour of white bread and minerals with fragile grassy hop note. Bready and mineraly finish
