Clear pale yellow, white lacing foam head. Not that nice aroma (barnyard barkey) and taste also is not that great. (Cheese notes). Still another tick. (Moscow 201509)

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head, that leaves some slight lace. Aroma is grains, mild rubbery notes as well as some grains and mild hayish notes. Flavour is being quite much the same with a maizelike sweetness coming through as well.

Great bottle, very ornate and original plus the beer inside is very good as well. A slightly hazy, gold color with a small head and minimal lacing. Hay and grass are prominent in the aroma with hints of mild apples and bananas. Rich, full bodied lager that is zesty and well balanced. Clean aftertaste and real quenching. Bread and grass malt flavors with a slight nutty taste. Green, peppery hops round out a well received smooth flavor. The hops are fairly aggressive, but in a pleasant way.

Nicely bright yellow color, much beautiful stable foam. Aroma has a little bit of malt and hops in it, but not too strongly. Taste is bittersweet. Aftertaste is refreshingly bitter. Definitely one of the best Lithuanian beers.

Well, I think it's plainly and completely obvious that because this bottle has a fancy engraved glass motif, and a classy looking foil label (only), that of course it's far superior to the rest of the Svyturys line of beers....!

    Nah ;^) Just kidding!

Despite the fancier upper-crust packaging, this is just yet another middle-of-the-road, rather plain and not-very-appealing East European lager. Nothing more, and nothing less.

Very little here to distinguish it from the oceans of other East European Pale Lagers out there. Not too huge in the alcohol department, which is a welcome change from the typical brain-burning pseudo-Malt Liquors that are popular from the Baltic States...., but otherwise? This anonymous beer can seemingly come from any B-Grade brewery on the face of this (or any other) planet.

Pale yellow fizz-water, no head retention. Barely adequate carbonation. Semi-sweet in the front end, plain in the middle, and not-too-repulsive in the backend. Some dryness in the mouthfeel, which is not unwelcome...., but I suspect this is due to an inordinate amount of cheap, easily fermentable adjuncts in the malt bill, than any sort of sign of real quality or craftsmanship.

Hints of some phenols in the mix too, as evidenced by the subtle twinges of a headache-to-be in my temples. This is drinkable enough, true, but I suspect an all-nighter with this one, while drinking in some smoky bar in Lithuania, might be a sure-fire recipe for a monster of a hangover the next day!

Certainly not the worst Eastern Euro Pale Lager I've run across; I suspect (with the packaging) that is is angled in it's native land to be a slice above the rest. While I'll give it that much, it's still no winner in my book. A nice find for bottle collectors only, IMHO.
