Pours clear golden amber with a thick, though effervescent, eggshell head. Wheaty aroma has fruity underpinnings, mainly apple with snips of banana and pear, and a subtle yeasty tone. Flavor has wheat and more malt, a little less fruit and yeast, and toasty and hoppy notes. Texture has firm, smooth body if not much fizz. Wheat love indeed.

Cloudy haze, with lots of aroma and the alchohol was a bit too much. The wheat taste did come through nicely, not sure i liked it. It will need further study on my part.

Did I find a beer from Bells that I didn't really like? Okay, so I didn't care for the Double Cream Stout. It was good, but...eh. This was just...well. Aroma was something like honey coated bubblegum. Appearance was orangish/yellow, nice whte head with some serious floaties going on. Mouthfeel was light, watery. Flavor was banana, bubblegum, wheatgrass with a subtle citrusy-floralness that was just odd. I just didn't enjoy it very much. Reminded me somehow of an Imperial American Wheat Ale. Yeah, didn't make much sense to me either.

Pours a very nice, mostly clear, pale golden color, with a thin dense head that fades very slowly to a spotty cap, leaving behind quite a bit more lace than I was expecting. Smell; there's definitely a very solid wheat aroma in this, and some yeasty esters very reminiscent of a good hefe-weizen. There's also a bit of a sweet fruitiness. Taste; as I noticed in the aroma this has some similar characteristics of a hefe, but it also has a touch of trippel going on as well. There's the wheat that's expected, but also a little banana, and some tropical fruits. This is a very interesting beer, and I wish that Bell's would make more of this, instead of just being a one-off release. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a moderate but smooth carbonation, with a bit of a drying finish. Drinkability is very good. I could happily have a few of these in one night if the alcohol would let me.

Pours with a crystal clear amber body topped by a medium thick head with lots of lacing. It’s slightly sweet with a note of toffee and wheat as well as a hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, tingly and dry.

Hazy amber, topped with a rich white foam. Sweet estery aroma of banana, oranges and cloves with touches of wet grass and yeast. Full, sweet and fruity flavour cloves, banana and dryish orange-peels. Notes of mild spices, roses and wet grass. Finishes fruity and sweet of oranges and mango with some funny dryish peppery, grassy and yeasty undertones. Great.

Batch 7155. This Barley wine/wheat wine pours an orange gold color from a 12 oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is citrus, fruity and grapefruity. A bed bodied wheat wine. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are citrusy and grapefruity, Touch of lemon, orange and orange peel. Touch of wheat and grass. Reminds me more of a high ABV wheat beer or a wit than a barley wine, Some banana and clove. Interesting, but kind of weird it is the high end (most ingredients) of the wheat series, but it comes off a weird hybrid of wheat and barley wine/ Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

The wheat love is not up my alley at all. The pour is nice, and the beer has a very good appearance--solid yellowish orange color with a fluffy white head. The aroma is a must-covered honey smell, with some spices mixed in there. The taste is about the same--it reminded me of a saison for sure. Didn't care for the mouthfeel or the taste, but please note that I am not a big fan of this type of brew in the first place.

my 2nd wheat wine, first rating....this poured a hazed golden yellow with a head. Yeast sediment adds some complexity. Actually an initial smell of 'white wine', and also aromas of honey and citrus......A nice mouthfeel was creamy-smooth and fairly rich. Pale toasted malts and flavors of hay and syrupy lemon. A nice mellow sweetness in the finish with a bit of warm spice from the alcohol......pretty good, i could relate this to an imperial pilsner.

This one is a light amber with a slight haze. The smallish head is fast fading. The aroma is an attractive floral honey and that is backed up by a sweet and pleasant fruitiness.
