Nice So Cal rendition of a Russina Imperial. Sweet, almost sticky, full bodies and full flavored. Roasted malt, licorice, dark fruit, chocolate, coffee and hops in equal measure. Smooth too.

It pours with a black body topped by a thick, creamy head with a good amount of lacing. It’s sweet and malty with a nice creamy note and lots of roasted coffee notes. Very nice. Full bodied, smooth and a touch warming.

Poured an opaque black color with a small, tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of mocha, chocolate malts, roast, and vanilla beans. Taste of more vanilla, chocolate malts, and a dry roastiness in the finish.

I had this on tap at the Pizza Port strong ale festival. This is another coffee-centric Imperial Stout with Bullwinklian coffee flavors and aroma. Nice and smooth. Very enjoyable.
