Taps coffee sable with a thick tan head. Aroma yields roast malt, coffee, molasses and chocolate tones. Flavor presents roast malt, earthy, molasses, subtle roast coffee and semi-sweet chocolate. Texture offers good body, if thin for a stout, and peppy fizz. Chop chop!

Sampled on draught: Pours an opaque black with a creamy tan top. Roasted nuts, toast, coffee and oatmeal on the nose. Taste is a little watery, otherwise caramel and coffee on the palate.

Poured a deep ruby/brown with a cap of head that settled out. Roasty with a touch of chocolate then a big dose of soy sauce that totally distracted me from the rest of the beer.
