Sampled on draft in Portland, OR in May, 06. A zesty IPA with both biterness and malt complexity. Grapefuit, citrus hops, caramelized and bready/toasted malts in the flavor. Slightly bitter. A good IPA.

Pours amber with good clarity and a short, airy head. Almost undetectable aroma: the points it earned, it earned by not stinking in a bad way. Subtly sweet malt form the base flavor. Piney and floral hops highlight the maltiness nicely. Medium bodied and well carbonated.
