    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Served in an 18 oz glass at The Ram, Salem, Oregon Quite an attractive ale , dark brown almost mahogany with a nice creamy small tan head. Aroma is subdued because the beer is a triffle to cold, when it warms the strong sweet caramel malty aroma shows through. The taste has a very strong roasaty aspect, with some coffeeish bitterness, thenit smooths out and theres even a bit of hop in the end, slightly nutty. Very nice on the palate, a good creamy, smooth mouthfeel. Very nice brown ale, one of the best beers I have had from Bighorn
