This is a dry yet full flavored Irish Style Stout, not heavy or sweet. We serve it with Nitrogen through a "sparkler" draught tap that gives it a long cascading "roll" of bubbles forming a dense whipped cream-like head yet keeps the carbonation appropriately low. Full flavors of coffee and chocolate abound, with a dry roasted finish.

This poured a black color with a large white head. The aroma is coffee and charcoal. The flavor is rather bitter with some chocolate showing up. Overall a nice session stout!

From the tap, this brew is a rich deep brown, almost black, with a fine-bubbled and persistent head. Aroma is rich and stouty with strong smoky and coffee hints. Taste is strong and stouty, very smoky, coffee and chocolate undertones. Finish is smooth with some bitterness. Excellent, and highly recommended to all stout/porter fans.

Pitch black with a lasting thick soupy head. The aroma is coffeeish, bitter. The flavor is bitter roasty coffeish backed up by a hint of dark chocolate. Definitely a dry stout. Nice creamy mouthfeel. This beer is a pretty masterful beer of the style, but it''s not quite exceptional (for a stout). It would probably be better if they didn''t nitro dispense it so you could taste it a bit. Considering the fact there was as much flavor left as there was, this would probably be a beautiful beer if drawn from a cask with a handpump. I would have given it a 4 for flavor, but the nitro just takes out the flavor a little too much. Still better than a Guinness or Beamish, but definitely in a very similar vein.

A dark black color indeed with a nice little off white head of course. mild roasted coffee aroma to it, chocolate was a no show, with a body to match. Aight for an irish stout, but no match for a russian.
