Light caramel colored brew. Thick dollop of foam floating on top. Doughy biscuit like malts. Very subdued hop presence. Medium body. This is a real sit back and relax kind of beer. Thanks to slob for the trade.

A very enjoyable beer, but it wasn't what I was expecting. Darker than the La Bav that I've had from this style. The head was nice, but fizzled fast. The aroma was malty and some fruits were detectable. The flavor was pretty sweet and someone coulda told me this was a Belgian, and I woulda believed (some yeast, earthy flavors alongside what seemed to me to be candy sugar flavors). Mouthfeel was moderate but very drinkable.

Poured a bubbly brownish copper color with no head. Citrus, grape, very fruity, alcohol and even some hops in the nose. Taste was bitter fruits and a slightly dry, earthy finish. Very nice, the fruit really stood out here.
